this is translated loosely as, “I speak to you hoping that you’ll be moved by something I say”, but that doesn’t quite encompass how this line feels to me.

“I speak to you, waiting, yearning, expectant - wanting you to be moved and affected by just one in the many things I say to you, that I will be able to achieve that somehow, unknowingly.”

My life is made up of ‘I’m sorry’. I feel like I have to apologize to people, to things, to life itself. It’s like, ‘I’m sorry to be here’. I don’t want to disturb anyone.
